เมื่อวันที่ 1 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2565 ที่ผ่านมา คณาจารย์หลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษธุรกิจ คณะพาณิชยศาสตร์และการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตตรัง ประกอบด้วย อาจารย์นันทนา สิทธิรักษ์   อาจารย์สุทธิดา พรจำเริญ และ ดร.สุดาทิพย์ ประพันธ์ ได้นำตัวแทนนักศึกษาหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษธุรกิจ ชั้นปีที่ 1 และ 2 จำนวน 7 คน เข้าร่วมการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ  “Decolonising English Language Teaching in Higher Education: Challenges and Ways Forwards” ณ อาคารสำนักทรัพยากรการเรียนรู้ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตหาดใหญ่ 

การอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และมุมมองด้านการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษระหว่างนักศึกษาและนักวิชาการจากสถาบันอุดมศึกษาในภาคใต้ 7 แห่ง โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจาก  British Council และมี Assoc. Prof. Dr. Will Baker และ Dr. Sonia Morán Panero จาก Southampton University ประเทศอังกฤษเป็นวิทยากรและ ผ.ศ.ดร.ยุโสบ บุญสุข สังกัดคณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานีเป็นผู้ประสานงาน

On 1 September 2022, the Business English Program team from the Faculty of Commerce and Management consisting of Ajarn Nantana Sittirak, Ajarn Suthida Pornjamroen, and Dr. Sudatip Prapanta, led a group of the 1st and 2nd-year Business English students to participate in the workshop “Decolonising English Language Teaching in Higher Education: Challenges and Ways Forwards” at the Learning Resource Center Building, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus.

Sponsored by the British Council, this workshop aimed to promote the exchange of knowledge and perspectives on English language teaching among students and academics from seven tertiary institutions in southern Thailand. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Will Baker and Dr. Sonia Morán Panero from Southampton University, England were the speakers, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Yusop Boonsuk from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus was the coordinator of the workshop.
